We are located just off the B3055 Arnewood Bridge Road
From Brockenhurst turn left into Linnies Lane by the letter box immediately after bends at the top of Arnewood Bridge Road, then second right into Agars Lane, then first right through wrought iron farm gates. Little Arnewood Cottage is the first cottage on the right, and Mike & Davina’s cottage front door is next door through the garden gate.

The boundaries of the New Forest are about ¾ mile away and once on the forest there are many miles of tracks providing a whole variety of scenery and ponies, donkeys, cattle, pigs and deer roaming freely. Car parks are plentiful and free and country Inns and pubs provide welcome sustenance for the ‘weary traveller.’

The historic Sway Tower is close by and the sailing town of Lymington is about 2 miles to the east, with it’s popular Saturday market, a good variety of shops, sports centre, library and famous marina – always plenty to see even if you don’t sail! New Milton to the west provides excellent shopping and recreational facilities, as well as a frequent countrywide rail service to include Southampton, Bournemouth, Winchester – lots of shops, museums and beautiful gardens there if the weather is wet.

From Lymington to Swanage there are good clean family beaches and interesting coastal walks. Southampton and Bournemouth are about 40 minutes away by car or train and offer cinema, theatre and musical treats and a variety of restaurants to complete your evening.

Other local attractions include trips to the Isle of Wight, the Montague House and Motor museum (Beaulieu), Bucklers Hard boat building village and museum (near Beaulieu), New Forest experience (Ashhurst), New Forest Owl Sanctuary (Ringwood), Marwell Zoo (Winchester), Paultons Theme Park, and in the Spring, the world famous Exbury gardens. Water sports, horse riding, fishing, cycling (both cycle hire and routes), and golf are freely available locally.
